Beyond a homepage check

Need help with the systems behind your site?

I work with product teams on cloud infrastructure, reliability and AI inference costs. The free monitor reports periodic observations; consulting starts with a scoped review of one workload.

A few practical details

Before your first check.

Is the monitor really free?

Yes. Website monitoring is free to use, with no credit card or trial period. Paid infrastructure support is optional and separate.

What does the free monitor check?

Vader checks your website’s public homepage every 15–60 minutes, keeps a history of results, and can email you when a check detects downtime. Short interruptions between checks may be missed. The percentage shows checks passed, not an exact measure of time online.

Can you help with more than monitoring?

Yes. I can help set up broader monitoring, improve deployment workflows, and maintain the infrastructure behind your application. We agree on the systems covered, support hours, and response expectations before starting.

Does an alert mean someone is fixing the problem?

The free monitor reports what it finds; it doesn’t make changes to your website or include incident response. Hands-on help can be arranged as part of a separate support engagement.
